what  to see:  wlace where i could see and feel peace once I looked deep into the sea with dusky sand back drop.The rock cut caves with carvings from indian mythology ,the Arjuna'spenance,the world's largest stone has a relief   art of huge rock facing  the sea with sculptures depicting scenes from the great indian epic Mahabharata with lord krishna as the main tutor.

The shore temple and the five monolithic temples built in 8th century  are one of the oldest temples in south india .Marvels of  old architecture  just leave you imagining  the evolution of  architecture an the comparison.

You can easily stay here for three days linking  with other destinations like Bangalore and Pondichery.
